Our certified organic beeswax candles are from hives in Western and South Australia. They are accredited by the National Association of Sustainable Agriculture, Australia as producers of organic honey, beeswax, pollen and Propolis.

Beeswax candles burn with a clean bright light and a delicate aroma. Beeswax also absorbs odours so a candle will act as a gentle room deodoriser. The colours may vary slightly depending on the pollen being collected at the time of harvest.

These Votive candles have a square braided wick (to ensure effective combustion), and the burn time is up to 5 hours each. Whilst beeswax candles are generally more expensive than others, they do burn for longer making them good value for money.

Size: 6 candles per pack
Weight: 50 grams each candle, Width at base: 3.5 cm, Height: 4 cm.

Free Bonus: Together with your 6 pack of beeswax votive candles, you will also get a FREE blue glass candleholder

Benefits

Why Beeswax Candles are the healthiest choice? Beeswax Candles are said to reduce allergies, asthma and hay fever by naturally releasing negative ions into the air when burned (which are also found around a waterfall, beach, or rainforest). Some people burn beeswax candles in rooms where allergic kids sleep or play, and say they have no allergic symptoms whilst in this space.

Pollen, dust, dirt, pollutants and other particulates in the air all carry a positive charge and that is how they are suspended in the air. The negative ions released from burning beeswax negate the positive charge of air contaminants and the neutralised ions are sucked back into the burning candle or fall to the ground. Many air purifiers and water filters utilise this negative ion technology.

Unlike like soy or paraffin wax candles, which compromise indoor air quality, beeswax candles release no toxins or chemicals in the air as they contain no artificial fragrances or additives.

Additional Information

Its important that you trim the top of the wick to clean out the wick on occasion as this can get blocked from all the work its doing filtering out particulates in your air.
